B.A.T.I. which stands for Blacksburg Alumni of TKE Inc. was formed by the alumni association of the Xi-Omega Chapter of TKE back in the late seventies to early eighties. Its function was to secure and maintain TKE property that has bought under the organization's name.

Throughout the years, BATI has maintained and made sure TKEs have always had a place to live. In other words, its the organization that owns the house and property associated with it and thus pays the bills and collects the rent, etc.

Alumni of the Xi-Omega chapter have always served on BATI's Board along with appointments for the current House Manager (non-alumni but active Brother living on the property) and other Alumni who help in the process of general supervision. BATI is a direct link between the current Brotherhood and its Officers and the Alumni of previous years.
